1,5 kg apple with peel

250 g Figs – finely sliced

250 g Dried plums – finely sliced

500 g Raisins – finely sliced

100 g Orange – finely sliced

300 g Walnuts – raw chopped

¼ l Rum

800 g Wheat flour

400 g Rye flour

2 Packets Baking powder

1 Packet Gingerbread spice

500 g Sugar

3 Tablespoon cacao

3 Eggs

A pinch of salt

Grate apples with peel, figs, dried plums, raisins, orange, walnuts and the rum, mix well and leave approx. 12 hours to infuse.
Then mix the remaining ingredients well and knead with the mixture.
Form small rolls with wet hands or put the mixture into a box form and bake at 175 C for about 50 minutes.
